From bold, ambitious works to intimate and personal expressions, we champion storytelling that is culturally significant, creatively excellent, and able to resonate locally and internationally.
Purpose
Central to our purpose is the education and development of creative talent. Through mentorship, training, partnerships, and on-set experiences, we promote our Principal Purpose by fostering sustainable creative careers and strengthening the ecosystem that enables artists and storytellers to thrive.
Film festival
Great Story Film Festival is an independent film festival celebrating the power of story to move, challenge, and connect us. We are a platform for filmmakers who believe cinema matters. We craft work with intention, heart, and excellence.The festival welcomes films that illuminate our shared humanity through community, family, faith, hope, character, cultural understanding & virtue. The programme is built around these thematic pillars and films need not fit only one, however the strongest submissions often weave several together.
